Wonderful trip into the mountains to the Eagles Nest and Berchtesgaden. Stunning part of the world. Wonderful scenery. The Eagles Nest was very atmospheric.....the tunnel and the brass lift. The views from outside are wonderful. Inside the exhibition on the history of the building in the sun terrace is really terrific. Also had a wonderful lunch in Berchtesgaden. The guide was excellent and offered good insight into Salzburg, the region and Eagles Nest.
